My Academic Journey as an Educator


My career in academia has been driven by a passion for teaching, mentoring, and shaping the next generation of engineers. Over the years, I have taught in multiple universities across Negros Occidental, guiding students in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Engineering, IoT, and Embedded Systems while contributing to program development and research initiatives.
2023 – Present | Faculty (Part-Time), Computer Engineering – University of St. La Salle (USLS)
Teaching advanced courses in AI, embedded systems, and automation, while mentoring students in Design projects that focus on real-world applications and innovation.
2021 – Present | Program Head, Computer Engineering Department – Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) Visayas
Leading the strategic direction of the Computer Engineering program, driving curriculum enhancement, and ensuring academic quality. I supervise faculty development, foster industry collaborations, and oversee student research initiatives that promote innovation and technical advancement.
2020 – 2022 | Faculty (Part-Time), Computer Engineering – Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (CHMSU)
Focused on Smart Automation, IoT, and AI education, ensuring students were equipped with both theoretical foundations and practical skills. Actively supported curriculum refinement and research-driven projects.
2019 – 2021 | Faculty, Computer Engineering Technology – Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) Visayas
Taught AI, IoT, and system development, and provided close mentorship for capstone and research projects. Organized workshops to strengthen technical proficiency and industry alignment.
2015 – 2019 | Faculty, Electronics Engineering Technology – TUP Visayas
Delivered core subjects in electronics, digital systems, and microcontrollers. Supervised laboratory sessions, mentored students for research competitions, and contributed to institutional research and extension programs.
